Scope of Work

Payment

Performance

​ [Sender.Company] shall make every effort to contact the customer when ice or snow is expected to accumulate on the property listed. If [Client.FirstName] [Client.LastName] requests salting or snow removal services, [Sender.Company] shall make every effort to provide those services as promptly as possible.Please note that services performed after hours or on holidays are subject to overtime rates.

Independent Contractor

​ [Sender.Company] is considered an independent contractor under the terms of this snow removal agreement. As such, [Sender.Company] is solely responsible for payment of their own employees’ and contractors’ wages, benefits, taxes, and other related costs.

Assignment

This section of the snow removal contract template requires you to obtain written approval from your client before subcontracting the work governed by this contract’s terms.

​ [Sender.Company] shall not contract the services covered by this snow removal contract without prior written approval from [Client.FirstName] [Client.LastName] .

Insurance & Liability

​ [Sender.Company] agrees to maintain an active commercial liability insurance policy for the duration of this snow removal contract. A copy of this insurance policy shall be made available to [Client.FirstName] [Client.LastName] by request. Additionally, [Sender.Company] agrees to name [Client.FirstName] [Client.LastName] as “additional insured” on their commercial liability policy.​ [Client.FirstName] [Client.LastName] agrees to indemnify and hold [Sender.Company] harmless against any and all claims of loss or damage, save for cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by [Sender.Company] , their employees, or their approved subcontractors.

Miscellaneous

​ [Client.FirstName] [Client.LastName] acknowledges that [Sender.Company] cannot be reasonably expected to completely prevent snow or ice build up on the [Client.FirstName] [Client.LastName] ‘s property. Furthermore, [Client.FirstName] [Client.LastName] agrees not to hold [Sender.Company] in breach of this snow removal contract should circumstances outside of their control, such as extreme weather or national disasters, prevent them from conducting ice or snow removal services.

Acceptance

You and your client will e-sign this snow removal contract template. After the contract is signed, you’ll both be able to download a copy for your records.

By signing below, [Client.FirstName] [Client.LastName] and [Sender.Company] agree to uphold and enforce the entirety of this snow removal contract for a period of one year, ending on contract end date.
