Tracking a Development Application

Please note that due to privacy reasons certain information is not available for viewing via the Development Application Tracking tool. Hard copy information is no longer available for viewing at Council's Customer Service Centre.

If you wish to access information that is not available from the Development Application Tracking tool, you will need to request this separately. For more information on accessing information, please refer to Council's Open Access information webpage.

Contacting the Development Assessment Officer

General enquiries about the development process can be made via our Customer Service team in the first instance.

Please note that only the nominated Applicant (i.e. one person) can contact the Development Assessment Officer to enquire about the status of their submitted application. This is to ensure communications between Development Assessment Officer and Applicant are streamlined, consistent and certain. This also avoids unnecessary delays to the timing of assessments caused by enquiries made by multiple contacts on behalf of the Applicant. Please carefully choose the nominated contact for the Applicant on the Application Form and when asked by the NSW Planning Portal during the lodgement process.

Members of the public cannot contact the Development Assessment staff regarding a specific Development Application, however they can take part in the community consultation process.

Duty Planner

Council has a Duty Planner available for general enquiries relating to the planning process, policies and lodgement requirements. The Duty Officer is not able to provide detailed planning advice or high level planning information.
